Who we are
The Lanzetti Racing platform is the official site for Lanzetti Racing, run by the Lanzetti family with COACT™ as Official Technology Partner and platform build partner. Questions or requests: hello@coact.co.za.
What we collect
When you submit the sponsor form we collect the name, email address, optional company, message, sponsorship category, and willingness-to-support flag that you enter. If you email us directly we retain that email thread. That is the entire data set - we do not run advertising pixels or third-party ad networks on this site.
Why we collect it
Solely to reply to your enquiry, group interest by sponsorship category, and keep a private inbox for the Lanzetti Racing team. Nothing you submit is displayed publicly unless you separately agree to a sponsor tile with a quote you approve.
Where it lives
Sponsor enquiries are stored in our secure cloud database (managed Supabase, EU region) with row-level security so only the authenticated admin can read them. Admin access is protected by a server-verified session and an httpOnly cookie - credentials are never stored in the browser. Email delivery for admin alerts and sponsor confirmations is sent via our transactional email provider from notify.lanzettiracing.com.
Analytics
We use lightweight, privacy-respecting event counters (page views, sponsor CTA clicks) to understand which parts of the team's story land with visitors. We do not set advertising cookies or share event data with third parties.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties. If you pledge sponsorship in kind (e.g. tyres, fuel, parts), we will only introduce you to a supplier or team partner after asking your permission first.
Payments
No payments are processed on this platform. Direct EFT is made straight into Lanzetti Racing's FNB business account - we never see your card details. Proof of payment sent to hello@coact.co.za is treated as sponsor correspondence and stored alongside your inbox entry.
Children
Some drivers we coach are minors. All decisions about a minor driver's personal information, imagery, and story content are made by their parents or guardians. If you believe any content should be reviewed or removed, contact us and we will action it promptly.
Your rights (POPIA)
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email hello@coact.co.za and we will action the request within 7 business days. The responsible party under POPIA is the Lanzetti family; the operator handling technical processing is COACT™.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the platform meaningfully changes what we collect or how we store it, and bump the "Last updated" date at the top.
